Fishing Gear

Below we have listed our most common gear we bring with us fishing. This set up is designed for 4 people and 8+ hours of fishing. We rarely fish for less than that or with less people; after all we are a fishing team. Feel free to modify the list to adjust to the amount of people you are bringing and time you will be spending there.
  • 6 Fishing Rods and Reels. 4 rods for cut bait and 2 rods for casting lures.
  • 3 tackle boxes. 1 for rigs, 1 for lures and sinkers and 1 for creating rigs which has leaders beads ect .
  • 1 Large cooler
  • 1 5 gallon Bucket
  • 2 12 packs of soda and plenty of snakes
  • 6+ Bunkers fresh, 2 6 packs of mullets, tub of clams, 1-2 blue fin crabs
  • Cutting board
  • Filket knife
  • Beach cart
  • Bait cutting table
  • 4 Beach chairs
  • 6 Rod holders
  • 20 lbs of Ice
  • Bug Spray like "Off"
  • Sun Screen

You should have no less than 3 different types of rigs and at least 4 per person fishing. You should have 2-3 different sinker weights i would personally suggest 5 oz 6 oz and 8 oz.
You should always bring at least 1 or 2 extra Rods to fish bait and lure or to fish close to shore and out further. A rod holder for each rod is critical to keep your rod and reel out of the salt water and sand. As you can tell we like to fish with comfort. The draw back to this is that you are not very mobil. Once you set up you are nearly stuck in place or at least nearby. You can shed many of those items and be able to move around the beach quickly. Some vetrans will carry a rod and a back pack with rigs sinkers and a very small cooler with bait and a knife
