Prohibited Species

This is a list of the Federal prohibited shark species. You can download a copy to keep it on hand while shark fishing. If you can not identify the shark species then you MUST release the shark in a safe manner. Shark fishing is fun and exciting but must be respected and performed responsibly. Not only for the safety of the shark but for your own safety. Most sharks have large teeth and strong tails that can harm you if you are not safe.
